Location: Herefordshire, with very occasional travel to other sites.

Clearance: DV clearance required. Candidates must have current clearance or be able to gain DV clearance within 90 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Enact good systems engineering practices in a predominantly Windows environment.
  • Manage full lifecycle of systems environments, including project delivery under customer direction.
  • Perform technical development of the core system, including subsystems such as radio, video, and network interfaces.
  • Administer Microsoft servers (AD, DNS, DHCP) and maintain their performance and security.
  • Manage virtualisation technologies and server patching across multiple product lifecycle environments from development to mission‑critical production.
  • Monitor system health and performance to ensure high levels of availability, security, and reliability.
  • Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end‑to‑end problem resolution.
  • Handle backups, restores, and recovery models.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and industry partners to support platform integration and installation.

Qualifications:

  • Current clearance, or ability to obtain DV clearance.
  • Server administration experience and technologies such as AD, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies.
  • Experience managing server patching, monitoring, and performance.
  • Problem‑solving skills with real‑time issue resolution.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • RedHat experience (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of radio technologies, in particular ROIP.
  • Familiarity with networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of JSP440 security guidelines.
  • Knowledge/Experience working within an MBSE environment.
  • Experience working with industry partners and platform integrators to support platform integration and installation.

Salary: £34,800.00 – £43,500.00 per annum.
