We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Legal Secretary / Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining legal secretarial support, administrative assistance and front‑of‑house responsibilities, helping to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the firm and providing an excellent experience for our clients.

About the Role: You will play an important role in supporting client matters, maintaining accurate records and helping colleagues deliver the highest standards of client care.
- Welcome clients and visitors, creating a positive first impression of the firm.
- Answer telephone calls, manage enquiries and direct calls professionally.
- Open and close client files in line with firm procedures.
- Prepare, format and proofread letters, emails and legal documents.
- Audio type from digital dictation and undertake copy typing where required.
- Manage diaries, arrange appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Support fee earners with case management and maintain accurate client records.
- Scan, copy, file and organise documents, including preparing larger bundles when required.
- Ensure outgoing correspondence is processed promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with billing and other administrative tasks.
- Provide support across different departments during busy periods and holiday or absence cover.
- Carry out a range of general administrative duties that contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the practice.
