Who We Are
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland offers a variety of residential, day, respite, assessment, and clinical services to individuals with varying degrees of intellectual disability. Many of the people we support have additional needs, including autism, behaviours that challenge, and physical or sensory disabilities. Services and supports are provided to over 6,500 people, and their families, throughout Counties Clare, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Roscommon, Tipperary, Wexford and Wash.
Skills and attributes
- Hold a recognized validated University Degree or Masters or an equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience working in paediatrics
- Experience of working with mainstream and special preschools and schools
- Possess a Full Clean Drivers License and access to your own car
- Capable of working individually and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and keen to develop professional skills
- Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in partnership with children with disabilities, their families and other agencies
