Job Description
We are seeking a Fine Sports Surface Specialist to join our expert team, dedicated to delivering the highest standards in sports surface preparation and maintenance. If you take pride in creating top-quality playing conditions and have hands-on experience with fine sports surfaces such as cricket wickets and golf courses, wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain high-standard cricket wickets, golf greens and other sports surfaces

Operate and maintain specialist turf equipment and machinery

Diagnose and manage turf health issues including pests, disease, and drainage problems
-
Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional playing surfaces across a variety of sites

Liaise with clients and site managers to understand and meet specific surface requirements
-
Follow and implement seasonal maintenance programs (mowing, rolling, scarifying, aeration, etc)
Requirements:

Proven experience in maintaining fine turf surfaces particularly cricket pitches and/or golf courses

In-depth understanding of turf care practices, soil science and sports surface standards

Competency with fine turf machinery and tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PA1/PA2/PA6 spraying certificates (desirable)

Full UK driving licence
