We are seeking a Fine Sports Surface Specialist to join our expert team, dedicated to delivering the highest standards in sports surface preparation and maintenance. If you take pride in creating top-quality playing conditions and have hands-on experience with fine sports surfaces such as cricket wickets and golf courses, wed love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain high-standard cricket wickets, golf greens and other sports surfaces Operate and maintain specialist turf equipment and machinery Diagnose and manage turf health issues including pests, disease, and drainage problems Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional playing surfaces across a variety of sites Liaise with clients and site managers to understand and meet specific surface requirements Follow and implement seasonal maintenance programs (mowing, rolling, scarifying, aeration, etc) Requirements: Proven experience in maintaining fine turf surfaces particularly cricket pitches and/or golf courses In-depth understanding of turf care practices, soil science and sports surface standards Competency with fine turf machinery and tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team PA1/PA2/PA6 spraying certificates (desirable) Full UK driving licence
