We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a high-quality children’s residential home. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. You will be supported by an experienced senior leadership team and Responsible Individual, giving you the autonomy to lead confidently while having the support needed to succeed.
The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
The Role:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the children’s residential home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred care that promotes positive outcomes
- Develop and support a strong, stable, and motivated staff team
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and care planning
- Manage staffing, performance, supervisions, and development
- Build positive relationships with social workers, local authorities, and external agencies
- Ensure the home maintains excellent standards across all areas of care and compliance
- Contribute to a positive and therapeutic environment where children feel safe and supported
About You:
- Proven experience within children’s residential care
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
- Experience leading teams and driving high standards of care
- Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Committed to achieving positive outcomes and maintaining high-quality standards
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
