The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
To provide personal care to Long-Term Care residents according to each resident’s individualized plan of care. Must be comfortable with electronic charting and communication. Experience working with seniors with complex, age-related diseases and/or mental health concerns is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the plan of care for assigned residents.
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and undressing, toileting, general grooming, and ambulation.
- Observe and report to the Charge Nurse any changes in resident’s condition as they occur and document resident changes.
- Assist in providing Restorative Care nursing therapy according to resident care plan and restorative care flow sheet to promote optimal quality of life.
- Support the overall Program/Activity process as directed by program staff to promote optimal quality of life.
- Follow the PSW responsibilities as outlined in the Fire Safety Plan and Emergency Plan.
- Participate in resident care conferences as required.
- Attend in-service training and self-development courses as required.
Shift Information:
- Must be available to work alternating weekends.
- Must be reasonably available to work short notice call-in replacements.
- 8 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift.
