The Role
We are looking for an experienced Dyslexia Assessor to join our growing diagnostic team. This is an online-only role, allowing you to conduct assessments and deliver feedback entirely remotely. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive dyslexia assessments for both children and adults and producing clear, diagnostic reports that meet current DfE and JCQ guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct full diagnostic assessments for dyslexia (and other SpLDs where qualified) entirely online
- Administer and interpret standardised tests (e.g. WIAT-III, WRIT, CTOPP, DASH)
- Write detailed, structured diagnostic reports with recommendations for support, workplace or DSA adjustments
- Maintain accurate records and follow FairNeuro clinical governance standards
- Liaise with the FairNeuro admin team to ensure smooth client communication and timely report delivery
Qualifications
- Level 7 qualification in Assessing and Diagnosing Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) from BDA, PATOSS, or The Dyslexia Guild or registration as a HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist
- Experience in conducting and writing full dyslexia diagnostic reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, client-centred approach
- Experience assessing for other neurodiverse conditions (e.g. ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia)
- Familiarity with online assessment platforms
