We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Bid Writer to lead on securing NHS, local authority, and government contracts. This role is integral to our growth strategy, ensuring Faircare Counselling is positioned as a preferred provider for mental health services within NHS frameworks and corporate healthcare partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Research, write, and submit high-quality bids and tenders for NHS, government, and corporate healthcare contracts.
- Develop clear, compelling proposals that align with NHS commissioning priorities, mental health frameworks, and funding opportunities.
- Ensure all submissions meet NHS and government procurement requirements, including compliance with clinical governance, GDPR, and CQC standards.
- Identify upcoming tender opportunities within NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), local councils, and public healthcare frameworks.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of procurement opportunities, evaluating contract viability and strategic fit.
- Analyse competitor bids and market trends to enhance bid success rates.
- Work closely with NHS procurement teams, commissioners, and key decision-makers to understand contract requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management, clinical teams, and finance to develop commercially viable proposals.
- Manage bid documentation, ensuring all supporting evidence, case studies, and accreditation details are relevant and up to date.
- Monitor bid outcomes, track success rates, and implement improvements based on feedback from procurement panels.
- Develop a library of standard bid responses to streamline future applications.
- Contribute to strategic planning by advising on funding trends and new opportunities in the healthcare sector.
- Proven experience in bid writing for healthcare, public sector, or social care contracts.
- Strong understanding of NHS procurement processes, commissioning frameworks, and funding models.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive content.
- Strong research and analytical skills to assess tender requirements and develop competitive bids.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Remote working with flexible hours.
