We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role involves supporting the property management team in daily operations, including administrative, financial, and resident relations duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist Property Manager to ensure compliance with HUD regulations (4350.3 Handbook).
- Implement intervention strategies for non-compliant tenants.
- Help prepare for REAC reviews, MOR, LIHTC reviews, and recertifications.
- Document lease violations and coordinate evictions.
- Promote resident satisfaction and respond promptly to inquiries and complaints.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely responses.
- Assist tenants with requests and concerns.
- Notify staff of move-ins, move-outs, and emergencies.
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
- Track arrears and follow up on rent payments.
- Oversee lease renewals to maintain retention rates.
- Work with legal team on rent payment statuses.
- Manage accounting transactions, ensuring rent collection and deposits.
- Create purchase orders in Yardi.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, messages, and emails.
- Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
- Knowledge of local residential market.
- Experience with EIV and Yardi.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn new property management applications.
- Positive attitude and quick learner.
