Fairmont St Andrews are looking for an experienced Weddings & Events Manager to join our talented Events team and play a key role in delivering exceptional celebrations and events within our luxury five‑star resort. As Weddings & Events Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for couples and clients, guiding their events seamlessly from the early planning stages through to flawless execution. You will build trusted relationships, bring creative ideas to life and work closely with our operational teams to ensure every celebration exceeds expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating memorable experiences, thrives on building relationships and enjoys being part of life’s most special moments.

A little more about what you will be doing:

  • Manage the smooth handover of confirmed business from Sales to Event Planning
  • Build strong relationships with each couple to gain their confidence and trust, ensuring a clear understanding of their vision and helping turn their dream wedding into reality
  • Arrange consultations, planning meetings and venue show‑rounds for prospective clients
  • Oversee all planning details including contracts, deposits, room blocks and key deadlines
  • Take every opportunity to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings while maximising revenue opportunities
  • Preparing event documentation to the highest standard
  • Liaise closely with operational departments to ensure every wedding and event is delivered seamlessly
  • Support and actively participate in wedding fayres, showcase events and promotional activities
  • Monitor billing, attrition and final accounts in partnership with finance
  • Accurately forecast weekly event revenues and maintain strong commercial awareness

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in wedding or event management within a luxury hotel or premium venue
  • Confident, professional and warm communicator with a passion for service
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Commercially minded with experience managing revenue and budgets
  • A natural relationship‑builder who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
