Fairmont St Andrews are looking for an ambitious and passionate Restaurant Manager to take the lead at one of the most exciting F&B outlets. This is a restaurant with two very different personalities and you’ll be at the heart of both. By day, it’s a golfer’s paradise with great food, relaxed hospitality and the perfect place to refuel before or after a round on our championship courses. By night, the restaurant comes alive as an award-winning AA Rosette Steak and Seafood destination, showcasing local quality produce and exceptional service. We’re looking for someone who can lead both sides of the experience and create a restaurant that guests want to return to, whether they're here for their first tee time or their final course.
What you will be doing:
- As Restaurant Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, leading your team to deliver outstanding service across a unique and varied operation.
- You’ll be visible, hands-on and guest-focused, working alongside your team to ensure every service runs seamlessly.
- Reporting to the Director of F&B and the Director of Golf & Estates, you’ll:
- Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team
- Ensure Fairmont and AA Rosette standards are consistently delivered
- Create memorable experiences for golfers, hotel guests and local diners
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver warm, personalised service
- Manage rotas, staffing, training and team development
- Drive Food & Beverage sales and team incentives
- Manage stock, purchasing and operational costs alongside the F&B Controller
- Monitor guest feedback and confidently resolve any issues
- Take ownership of the restaurant’s P&L, forecasting and financial performance
- Work closely with the kitchen and wider resort teams to deliver an exceptional experience
About You:
