We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team at Fairmont St Andrews. In this key leadership role, you will support the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring our guest bedrooms and public areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and luxury service. You'll lead by example, inspiring and developing a team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading, motivating, and supervising a team of Housekeeping Attendants and Assistants.
  • Conducting daily team briefings and allocating tasks effectively.
  • Carrying out quality inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development within the department.
  • Ensuring all housekeeping standards, procedures, and brand requirements are met.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure rooms are available on time and guest expectations are exceeded.
  • Supporting the Housekeeping leadership team in the absence of senior managers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping, preferable in a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop colleagues.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
