Your purpose will be: The Senior Sales Manager, Golf & Events is responsible for driving revenue through the sale, retention, and development of golf-related events, and associated leisure, hospitality, and corporate sales opportunities at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere.
Job Description
- Lead the sales and coordination of golf events, including member competitions, corporate golf days, and charity tournaments.
- Maximise revenue across golf, rooms, food & beverage, spa, and wellness through cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of golf-related and lifestyle accounts, ensuring retention and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, memberships, and events within approved systems.
- Produce regular sales reports covering memberships sold, event revenue, and pipeline activity.
- Ensure all sales activities align with Fairmont Brand Standards, Accor SOPs, and luxury service expectations.
- Collaborate with the wider Sales team and Accor Sales Network to support broader commercial objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Senior Sales Management experience within a luxury hotel environment.
- Extensive knowledge of managing your own sales pipeline for corporate clients.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to engage effectively with luxury clientele and senior stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets, cost control, and forecasting.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of operational profitability.
- Upholds brand standards for professional conduct and presentation.
