Your purpose will be: You are an ambassador for exceptional service that is the hallmark of our Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere Club Orangery bar experience. Your warm, personal attention and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to.

Job Description:

  • Set up and maintain the bar area according to standards and procedures.
  • Provide excellent guest service, including warm greetings, personalised attention, and prompt order‑taking.
  • Prepare and serve drinks and snacks efficiently, ensuring proper temperature and quality.
  • Create new beverages and cocktails, upsell products, and promote food and beverage offers to maximise sales revenue.
  • Handle billing accurately and process payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Manage stock, including ordering supplies and preparing garnishes.
  • Report complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management and actively seek guest feedback.
  • Clean and maintain operational equipment and implement cost‑control measures.

Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi‑skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage.
