Job Description
Job Title: Head of Events
Location: St Andrews, Fife
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Events to lead and develop our Events and Event Sales teams. You will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of all corporate and social events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.
In this key leadership role, you’ll manage the full event life cycle — from enquiry and sales through to execution and post-event billing. You\’ll work closely with clients, internal departments, and senior leadership to ensure every event runs smoothly, on brand, and on budget.

Oversee planning and delivery of all meetings, events, and functions

Manage the events enquiry process, contracts, and timelines

Lead, support, and develop a high-performing events team

Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert event guidance

Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth coordination and service

Review and manage event billing, reporting, and financial targets

Ensure adherence to brand standards and service excellence

Drive revenue through strategic space management and pricing

Lead key meetings (e.g. BEOs, forecasts, operations handovers)
