Job Description
- Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide helpful information.
- Attend to all incoming calls via the switchboard professionally and politely, striving for Total Customer Satisfaction.
- Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
- Handle credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys, and guest privacy with security and confidentiality.
- Maintain communication channels between hotel guests and all hotel departments verbally and in writing as required.
- Operate the switchboard effectively, handling calls promptly and professionally, greeting callers according to Accor policy, and transferring calls efficiently.
- Document all internal and guest messages accurately and distribute according to hotel procedure.
- Maintain an accurate internal phone list for call transfers and record charges for international and operator-assisted calls.
- Assist in screening calls for reservations, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- Promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
- Attend to other duties as requested by management and supervisors.
