Your purpose will be: To be a key player at the heart of our operation. Taking pride in supporting a perfect arrival and memorable departure for our guests. Honouring guest requests throughout their stay with efficiency and personality.

You will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring the delivery, security and storage of guest luggage and belongings
  • Delivering all guest requests in line with our service standards while taking every opportunity for personalisation
  • Working closely alongside the Front of House team to assist with a wide variety of guest requests
  • Always putting our guests first

Your key responsibilities & contribution will be:

  • To provide a seamless luggage service while assisting with the arrival/departure experience.
  • To accurately record all guest luggage and to ensure it is handled and stored securely
  • To engage enthusiastically in guest interactions demonstrating knowledge and personality
  • To use correct lifting and carrying procedures
  • To be present in the Front Hall and the entrance of the hotel to assist guests and the Front of House team wherever needed
  • To have thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities and local area to share with our guests
  • Polishing guest shoes
  • Ensure that all deliveries for guests and for colleagues are correctly recorded and delivered to the correct destination in a timely fashion
  • Provide errand services for guests as requested
  • Carry out wrapping and packing of parcels
  • Sort the incoming mail and deliver to the designated areas
  • To assist the door team in providing parking assistance upon arrival and departure of guest vehicles
  • When accepting a vehicle ensure relevant checks are carried out and recorded
  • Other duties as specified by Guest Experience leadership

What you will need to do this role:

  • The ability to prioritise and organise yourself
  • Warm, enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
  • Able to work under pressure and at high speed.
  • Frequently kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, reaching, standing and walking.
  • CAN DO attitude and able to adapt to changes
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and able to work independently with little supervision and also able to follow directions thoroughly
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
  • 1 year minimum experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Experience in valet parking
