Driven by a commitment to seasonality, local procurement, and sustainability, all three dining experiences showcase the UK’s best organic produce sourced daily from farms, fields, and shores across the country.
An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Chef de Rang to join Mauro Colagreco’s Restaurants at Raffles London at The OWO. Reporting to the Head Waiter, you will be responsible for the daily service of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding guest service and performing tasks to the highest standards. Specifically, as the Chef de Rang, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting positive colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and continuous feedback.
- Being an effective communicator, adhering to legal responsibilities and company policies.
- Having knowledge of the menu and all products.
- Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables quickly and accurately.
- Acting as the contact point between Front and Back of House staff.
- Assisting wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, utensils, and napkins.
- Explaining dishes to clients professionally and knowledgeably.
- Checking in with customers, taking additional orders, or refilling water as needed.
- Serving food and removing used dishes and utensils.
- Ensuring food is served according to safety standards.
- Informing staff about customer feedback or requests.
- Understanding and communicating the restaurant’s concept through service.
- Practicing sustainable waste management and purchasing daily.
- Performing other duties as required, including working in different departments or restaurants.
