Job Description:
Our absolute focus is delivering a personalised, luxury experience to all guests, building relationships and anticipating their every need. As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will assist the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department.
A little bit about what you will be doing:
- Provide friendly and efficient service through effective recruitment, induction, training, and development policies, ensuring low staff turnover and high guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist with staff training to ensure all staff deliver a superior cleaning service in rooms and public areas according to standards set by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Check rooms and public areas daily, and complete cleaning duties as necessary.
- Coordinate staff training, keep training records up to date, and ensure staff attend relevant training courses.
- Regularly check and clean all equipment used by staff.
Qualifications
- Service-focused personality is essential; previous leadership experience required.
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to lead by example, foster a strong team culture, and set the scene for high performance.
