A bit about what you will do... As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Fairmont Windsor Park, you will assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure a smooth and effective running of the Food Beverage operation of the restaurant. As one of the operational leaders, you are a strategic service expert, assist in maintaining and improving the Fairmont Windsor Park standards of operations and manage and develop your team.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations and ensure service standards are met.
- Report on financial performance and employee satisfaction.
- Foster a service-focused, results-driven team environment.
- Train and develop staff according to Fairmont Windsor Park service standards.
- Monitor staff schedules and vacation planning.
- Help implement and improve guest service and recognition programs.
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are followed in all areas.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment e.g. uphold fire safety rules and regulations etc.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of standards, policies, and procedures.
- Lead daily team briefings.

You will have the ability to remain calm during difficult situations, in a very busy environment. You have a good working knowledge of food and beverages. You are a great leader and strive to develop and motivate the team. Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential.
