A bit about what you will do...
- The Engineering Coordinator Chief and Deputy Chief Engineer to source the suppliers and monitor their performance.
- Effectively coordinate the Engineering team on a daily basis.
- Provide hands-on administrative support to the Engineering department, including the Chief and Deputy Chief Engineer.
- Receive and follow up on calls with suppliers, team members, and other departments.
- Log, distribute, and update job records and daily activity logs (KnowCross).
- Process vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and match with delivery notes to prevent discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain office supply levels to avoid shortages.
- Set up and maintain an efficient and cost-effective filing system.
- Update and file departmental records, including supplier insurance, liability documents, and utility readings.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and inspection schedules; assist with daily and monthly departmental meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory facility standards.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organized work areas at all times.
