A bit about what you will do... This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational excellence across the restaurants, bars and room service. This role is highly floor-focused and requires a visible, hands-on leader who supports teams during service, drives exceptional guest experiences, upholds luxury service standards, and maximizes commercial performance. This position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the group and brand service strategy and initiatives.

  • Create an environment for success where team and colleague engagement is at a high level to complement the service quality and great hotel product.
  • Direct day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work alongside the Fourth system, and establish performance and development goals for the team members.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
  • Be consistently present within the outlets during service periods to lead operations and support teams.
  • Drive a culture of service excellence through active floor management and visible leadership.
  • Ensure all outlets operate efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
  • Monitor guest journey standards and continuously identify areas for enhancement.
  • Establish and achieve quality guest satisfaction goals.
  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints, reviews and/or requests ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage local food and beverage marketing programmes for the hotel.
  • Participate in and maintain system-wide food and beverage marketing programmes and promotions.
  • Maintain a departmental health & safety file within their department to record all training, risk assessments, safe systems of work, safety tours and equipment checks.
  • Drive outlet revenue through active upselling and commercial awareness.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to increase average spend and guest capture.
  • Analyze outlet trends and collaborate on promotional and activation opportunities.
  • Support achievement of departmental budgets and financial targets.
  • Monitor labour productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and lead the food and beverage sales plan to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized where possible to enhance revenue.
  • Set and lead promotions that enhance the offering and create a unique experience for the guests whilst driving revenue.

Driven to deliver outstanding and memorable guest service, with a natural ability to inspire others to do the same. Proven experience in multi-departmental budgeting and forecasting, with a comprehensive understanding of all financial aspects. Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Proven track record in managing, coaching, challenging and developing large teams. Approachable and positive manner with a can-do attitude. A smart and professional appearance. Proven experience in a similar position within a 5-star hotel. Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken. Holder of an Alcohol License, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Certificate.
