We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. This is a truly unique opportunity to drive corporate and MICE business while representing a globally recognised luxury brand in the Home of Golf. As Senior Sales Manager, you will lead the sales efforts for our MICE market across a designated territory, developing new business and nurturing key accounts. You will manage the sales process from lead generation to booking while your focus will be on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role will also involve travel to attend trade shows, exhibitions, and sales missions across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new accounts and manage key client relationships to maximise revenue
- Execute proactive sales through face-to-face meetings, site visits, and presentations
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and Accor Global Sales teams to implement MICE strategies
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior sales team members
- Maintain accurate records in Opera Sales & Catering and ensure excellent communication across teams
- Attend trade shows, familiarisation trips, and other events to generate business opportunities
- Proven experience in sales management within luxury hotels or premium venues
- Strong MICE or corporate sales experience, with a results-driven approach
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing a team
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across a 7-day operation
