A professional services organisation is looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to support and enhance its finance systems and processes. This role will play a key part in delivering digital transformation initiatives and ensuring finance operations are supported by accurate, reliable, and compliant systems.
The Role
- Acting as a subject matter expert for finance operations, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify improvements and deliver system enhancements across finance platforms.
- Supporting finance-focused digital transformation projects.
- Acting as SME and second-line support for finance system queries.
- Gathering and defining business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
- Collaborating with development teams to design, test, and deliver solutions.
- Managing user acceptance testing and producing test plans.
- Writing SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
- Maintaining and improving existing systems, processes, and workflows.
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
About You
You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams.
Experience in:
- Finance systems within the legal sector (including cashiering and collections).
- Practice management systems (e.g. Elite 3E or similar).
- Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).
- Supporting or delivering system improvements and change initiatives.
- Working with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
- SRA regulations and compliance.
Desirable:
- Experience with DevOps tools.
- Exposure to project delivery or change environments.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or complex finance environments.
