We are currently working with a growing tech company specialising in data-driven insights who are looking for a Cloud Security & Platform Engineer to support and improve its cloud infrastructure and security posture.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening security, governance, and visibility across AWS and SaaS environments. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve security without slowing delivery—embedding best practice, reducing risk, and increasing confidence in the platform.
Key areas include:
- AWS security, governance, and configuration
- Identity & access management
- Security monitoring, scanning, and observability
- Risk and vulnerability management
- Automation to support security and operational standards
- Supporting ISO 27001 compliance and audits
- SaaS and Microsoft 365 security best practice
About You
You’ll be practical, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to improve security in a balanced way.
Experience in:
- AWS (security and best practice)
- Cloud security and governance
- Security tooling (SIEM, SAST, vulnerability scanning)
- Python, Terraform, CloudFormation
- ISO 27001 or similar frameworks
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with Azure or GCP
- Serverless AWS technologies
- Legacy system migration
