The Concierge Coordinator is appointed to provide information to guest enquiries and to coordinate guest requests for special arrangements or services such as restaurant and ticket bookings, special events and car arrangements. The ultimate goal is to exceed guests' expectations and create a memorable experience during their stay at The Savoy Hotel.
You Will Be Accountable For:
- Building a nurturing relationship with our guests, partners, and colleagues to create lasting memories.
- Efficiently supporting the concierge desk to deliver engaging, refined and intuitive service.
- Providing guests with in-depth knowledge about the property and London.
- Having thorough knowledge of local restaurants, museums and attractions, and current events to give recommendations.
- Assisting all guest enquiries via email and phone calls.
- Interacting with guests and effectively dealing with recoveries, and informing the Duty Manager.
- Using the hotel computer system and phone system effectively and efficiently.
- Providing a complete and detailed handover for the concierge team.
- Being willing and able to cross-train and assist in other departments as required.
Qualifications:
- Passion for guest service and ownership of the guest experience.
- Ability to work in a team and build relationships with others.
- Organised and proactive in managing tasks.
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in performing job functions.
- Thorough understanding of the hotel, surrounding area and London transportation system.
- In-depth knowledge of London’s current dining, entertainment, shopping and art scene.
