About The Beaufort Bar
The dramatic jet-black and gold dΓ©cor of the Beaufort Bar provides the perfect setting for glamour and luxury. Open from Thursday to Saturday nights, it offers creative cocktails, prestige spirits, and rare vintages.
Your Purpose Will Be
You are an ambassador for exceptional service that is the hallmark of our Savoy bar experience.
You Will Be Accountable For
- Delivering a memorable and professional 5-star beverage experience
- Advising guests through enthusiastically sharing your knowledge about our F&B offering
- Delivering on all standards, policies and procedures to create memorable luxury guest experiences
Your Key Responsibilities & Contribution Will Be
- Delivering an extraordinary service experience to the highest industry standards
- Mixing drinks in a timely manner based on standardised recipes
- Assisting guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
- Boosting revenue through upselling and other creative initiatives
- Being part of the creative process of our beverage menus
- Sharing knowledge of mixology and hotel information
- Following all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Qualifications
What you will need to do this role:
- 1-2 years bartending experience in a luxury environment
- Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality
- Empathetic with a talent for building rapport
- Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems
- Able to remain calm and courteous at all times
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Rights to work in the UK
Desirable
- Basic knowledge with a POS System
- Basic knowledge with Open table
- Industry related certifications (i.e. WSET)
