Fairmont Crest Executive Recruitment has been appointed to lead the search for an exceptional Business Development Director on behalf of a high-growth professional services firm operating within the Private Equity and Real Estate markets. This is a senior, client-facing role for a highly credible professional from a Big 4 or leading consultancy background, with an established network and proven success in originating and growing advisory relationships at the highest level.
The Role
- Originate, develop and grow advisory mandates across PE and Real Estate clients
- Leverage an established personal network to generate new business and cross-sell services
- Act as a trusted adviser to PE houses, funds, investors and senior real estate stakeholders
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to shape propositions and win complex engagements
- Represent the firm at senior-level meetings, industry events and within the wider market
- Contribute directly to the firm’s market positioning and long-term growth strategy
The Person
- A background in a Big 4 firm or top-tier consultancy (or equivalent)
- Deep experience working with Private Equity and/or Real Estate clients
- A demonstrable and established network of senior PE and Real Estate relationships
- Strong commercial instincts and a proven track record of revenue generation
- Gravitas and credibility with Boards, Partners, Investment Committees and C-suite clients
- An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy
- Likely operating at Partner, Director or Senior Director level (or equivalent)
