This role involves overseeing a prestigious £8 million new-build steel-frame project in Waltham Abbey, operating under a JCT contract. Our client is a forward-thinking main contractor, renowned for their entrepreneurial approach, collaborative team culture, and proven track record of delivering high-quality industrial projects. The project is scheduled to start mid-February, with a 12-month contract duration. The Role As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of this significant project, working closely with the Project Manager and reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. Key Responsibilities * Full commercial ownership of the project from inception to completion. * Managing cost planning, valuations, and cost/value reconciliations. * Procuring and overseeing subcontractor packages, including final accounts. * Handling variations and implementing effective change management processes. * Producing accurate financial forecasts and progress reports. * Aligning commercial objectives with operational goals on-site. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
