Job Description
We are looking for an experience Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Newmarket.
Quantity Surveyor
Newmarket
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
£55,000 to £70,000
Our client is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team on multiple projects across the UK.
What will you receive?
- 25 days holiday plus 8 (can rise to 30 plus 8 after 5 years service)
- Auto enrolment pension scheme
- Bonus up to 12.5% of salary
What will the Quantity Surveyor be doing?
- Implementation and setting up all projects CPRs
- Ensure that project CPR's are kept up to date including forecasts for revenue, turnover and cash inflows along with cash outflows, current costs and forecast final account projections
- Obtaining sub-contract quotations for various work packages for projects.
- Appraisal & negotiation to sub-contract orders.
- Raising purchase orders and preparation
- Carry out site visits as required.
- Pricing variations to contract works
What we are looking for in the Quantity Surveyor
- HNC qualification in Construction/Surveying.
- Commercial awareness and strong numeracy skills.
- Skilled MS Office particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Holder of full UK Driving licence.
