Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? A well-established building contractor based in Ipswich is seeking a talented individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be based out of their Head Office in Ipswich.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial management of construction projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Procure subcontractor packages and materials, ensuring best value for the company.
- Provide accurate cost advice and commercial support to the project team.
- Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.
- 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Commercial build experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in IT and industry-specific software.
- Chartered status (MRICS) desirable but not essential.
