Fairmead are working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Finishing Foreman for a 6-month temp-to-perm role.
The Role: Hands-on role overseeing finishing trades on a live site. You’ll be walking the job daily, managing snags via a site tablet, checking finishes, and pushing works through to handover. Must be confident using digital tools and dealing directly with trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day finishing works across multiple plots or zones
- Coordinating with subcontractors to drive quality and programme
- Snagging and de-snagging using site management software
- Reporting progress and issues back to the site and project managers
- Maintaining H&S standards at all times
- Assisting with final handovers to client/main contractor
Requirements:
- Strong eye for detail and a hands-on approach to quality control
- Competent using a tablet/site management software
- CSCS card (Gold preferred), SMSTS or SSSTS, and First Aid
- Able to walk the job all day – this isn’t a desk-based role
