Project Manager | Cambridge | £50,000–£55,000 + Package
Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Cambridge team — refurbishment, CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across a solid client portfolio.
You'll take full ownership of projects from pre-con through to handover — main point of contact for clients, managing subcontractors, chairing meetings, controlling costs and keeping programmes on track.
A proper PM role with real autonomy across a range of sectors.
The role
- Full project ownership — programme, budget, quality and safety
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Chairing client, consultant and site meetings
- Cost control — valuations, variations, final accounts
- Ensuring CDM and H&S compliance throughout
What we're looking for
- Solid PM background in commercial construction and fit-out
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
- Able to interpret drawings and contract documentation
- SMSTS desirable
- Full UK driving licence required
- Enhanced DBS required
