We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with a solid construction background to help deliver quality projects from design through to completion. Working alongside our Project Managers, you'll support live projects, run your own small works, and keep communication, compliance and Health & Safety standards high throughout.

What you'll do:

  • Support PMs and run your own small works projects
  • Monitor Health & Safety and CDM compliance on site
  • Attend site, progress and financial meetings
  • Prepare reports, programmes and valuations
  • Price instructions, procure sub-contractors and manage suppliers
  • Assist with estimates, tenders and final accounts
  • Help win new clients and deliver excellent customer care

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant PM (or in project management) in construction
  • Good knowledge of construction processes and the ability to read drawings
  • Confident with MS Office and project management software
  • Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (6+ months post-test)
  • Construction qualification (BSc/HNC/HND) and SMSTS/SSSTS desirable, not essential

Full-time, 42 hrs/week (Mon‑Thu 07:45‑17:15, Fri 07:45‑16:45). Some travel and occasional overnight stays. This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (including the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List) and may involve additional client vetting.
