We're a strategically led production agency based in Hitchin, working with ambitious brands across strategic campaigns, events, social content, and creative direction. We've grown entirely through the quality of our work and the relationships we build — and now we're looking for someone to lead client strategy, grow key accounts, and help drive the agency's next phase of growth.
THE ROLE
This is a senior, client-facing role at the heart of how Fairlight works. You'll own creative strategy for a portfolio of clients — developing briefs from scratch, setting the strategic direction, and producing compelling strategy documents. You'll work closely with our Creative Director to ensure every project is both strategically grounded and creatively elevated. Equally important is the relationship side. You'll build the kind of trusted partnerships that make clients stay, grow their spend, and think of Fairlight first when they have a new brief. This isn't a new business hunting role — your commercial contribution comes from developing relationships with the clients you already have.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and lead creative briefs — defining the strategic direction, not just interpreting it
- Produce strategy documents, storyboards, and Figma decks that bring thinking to life visually
- Own a portfolio of client relationships — retainers and ongoing projects
- Deepen accounts naturally through the quality of your thinking and attention
- Identify opportunities to do more for clients before they have to ask
- Handle inbound enquiries — lead discovery conversations and guide new clients in
- Work closely with the Creative Director on brief-to-delivery
- Contribute to internal projects — case studies, service packaging, Fairlight's own positioning
WHO YOU ARE
You're a senior creative and strategic thinker who genuinely loves client relationships. You build trust quickly, follow through on everything, and make people feel looked after. You spot opportunities without being asked. You're self-sufficient, visually articulate, and comfortable managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously. You've done this kind of role before — and you're ready for one where you have real ownership and autonomy from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Essential
- Proven experience in a senior client-facing role at a creative, production, or content agency
- Ability to develop and lead creative briefs from scratch — setting the strategic direction
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, audience engagement, and content strategy
- Competent in Figma (or similar) for strategy decks, storyboards, and presentations
- Track record of growing and retaining client accounts
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised — able to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Nice to have
- Existing network of brand contacts
- Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management
WHAT WE OFFER
- £56,000–£58,000 base salary depending on experience
- Commission on account growth
- Hybrid working — Hitchin, Hertfordshire (25 mins from London)
- Real autonomy — your own clients, your own way of working
- Small team, high trust, interesting clients
- Room to grow as the business grows
