We are growing our training team and are now looking for a Sister Charge Nurse for Highfield House in Purley. The successful candidates must be individuals with the motivation and drive to improve patient care and demonstrate Fairlie Healthcare Core Values in their daily work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, evidence‑based and patient‑focused clinical care
- Ensure good standards of care for residents are maintained at all times
- Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times
- Involve and support residents, relatives, carers and friends in the care process
- Observe a general duty of care for the health, safety and well‑being of yourself, work colleagues, visitors and residents within the Home
- Adhere to the Home’s policy on valuing equality and diversity and show due regard for each resident’s cultural and religious beliefs, gender, ethnicity, age and sexuality
- Strictly adhere to the Home’s Infection Control Protocols, policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration
- Understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
- Proficiency in dispensing and administrating oral medication
- The ability to manage and prioritise conflicting workloads
- Enthusiasm for and belief in patient healthcare
