About the role
In this role, you'll have the chance to inspire and develop your team whilst working on projects that really make a difference. You'll work with a friendly team to develop new ideas to strengthen our values and vision for the future. You will be responsible for ensuring Fairhive remains fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including fire safety, gas, electrical safety, asbestos, legionella, lifts, and Awaab's Law. You will lead the delivery of planned heating and electrical maintenance and investment programmes, working with both in-house teams and contractors to maintain Decent Homes compliance. Acting as the Responsible Person for fire safety, you will oversee statutory inspections, manage compliance data and action plans, and ensure all health and safety and CDM requirements are met. You will also support effective disrepair case management, organise people and resources to deliver business objectives, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working both in the office and out in the field as required.
About you...
- A degree, or technical experience in a similar role
- A Level 6 Diploma in fire safety or fire engineering or significant experience in fire safety.
- A professional qualification such as RICS, IFSM or IFE, RIBA or equivalent.
- Advanced technical knowledge in other areas of compliance along with significant management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to communicate across all levels of the organisation
- Excellent organisational, time management, administrative and prioritisation skills
- Good intermediate IT skills
