Job Description \n Multi Trade Operative - Responsive Repairs \n £41,348 per annum \n Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire \n Permanent, Full Time \n \n Are you an experienced tradesperson looking for a new role? \n \n At Fairhive we're excited to welcome an enthusiastic and friendly Multi Trade Operative to our Property Services team. This role is primarily suited to qualified and experienced plumbers with additional multi-trade capabilities. Therefore, all of our tradespeople participate in a call out rota to ensure our residents are kept safe in their homes. \n \n ·Carrying out inspections of occupied and empty properties to determine the extent of the repair, maintenance or installation required. \n ·Carrying out a range of plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations in occupied and empty properties as your primary trade discipline, supported by competency in a secondary trade such as carpentry or plastering. All works must be completed to current legislative requirements and prevailing performance standards. \n ·Carrying out a range of general trade repairs and installations in occupied and empty properties including but not limited to: full decoration of a house, full tiling of a bathroom/shower room, installation of ‘Multipanel', patch plastering 1sqm, basic plumbing and basic carpentry. \n ·Participate in the Emergency call-out cover outside normal working hours, on a rota basis as part of the call-out team \n \n To be successful you will have: \n \n ·NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent practical experience) in Plumbing, with demonstrable competence in a secondary trade such as carpentry or plastering. \n ·Be proficient in general trades skills \n ·Hold a valid and current driving licence \n ·Have organisational, time management, and problem solving skills \n ·Have basic IT skills \n ·Be committed to the promotion of equality and diversity in service delivery \n \n About us \n \n At Fairhive Homes, we're driven by a simple yet powerful vision: “Homes for Living, Communities for Life” This isn't just what we do; As a non-profit housing association, we're dedicated to providing affordable housing to over 20,000 individuals in our community.
