We're now looking for an experienced and people-focused Senior Lead Operative - Voids to join our Voids Operations team and play a key role in delivering high-quality homes for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational experience and a passion for leading teams. You'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and ensuring properties are ready for new residents as efficiently and safely as possible. The Role As Senior Lead Operative, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a team of operatives delivering void property repairs and refurbishment works. You'll lead by example, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. Working closely with managers, inspectors and planners, you'll coordinate workloads, monitor productivity and quality, and ensure resources are deployed effectively to meet service priorities. You'll act as the first point of contact for your team, providing practical guidance, coaching and support while helping to resolve operational challenges on site. You'll also play an important role in developing team capability, identifying training needs, supporting wellbeing and performance conversations, and helping to create an engaged and motivated workforce. Through regular inspections and quality checks, you'll ensure works are completed to the highest standards while delivering an excellent customer experience for residents. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll contribute to service improvements, support operational briefings and deputise when required to ensure the continued delivery of an effective voids service. About You We're looking for a confident and proactive leader with experience supervising operational teams within a repairs, maintenance, housing or construction environment. You'll have strong people management skills and be comfortable motivating others, managing performance, and supporting team development. You'll be organised, solutions-focused and able to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and residents alike.
