About the role
Our IT Data Officer will work with the Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with data protection legislation, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The role supports the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures and systems, undertakes data governance and administration duties, and prepares data quality reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing Data Subject Access Requests
- Data Sharing
- CCTV management
- Data quality reporting
The role also involves working with the IT Business Systems Manager on raising awareness of any data issues.
Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge of data protection legislation and best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational time management, administrative and prioritisation skills
- Good IT skills particularly in data management and security
