We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Fairhill Shopping Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the Shopping Centre, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role is 16 hours per week although additional hours can be available on occasions if required.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Interact courteously with clients and staff, providing excellent customer service where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
