I am currently working in partnership with a long-established provider of soft FM services to appoint an experienced Regional Manager. General overview of the role This Regional Manager role is a senior post within the company and will involve overseeing multi-service contracts (several larger clients and a number of smaller ones) across a large geographical area in the south of England in areas such as Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent etc. The role holder is also responsible for the management of the Contracts Managers in the region (up to 8 in total). This is not a fire-fighting role and requires a candidate who is a strategic thinker and can see the bigger picture and who when required can look at an issue, analysis the problem and come up with a workable solution. This is very much a proactive role, the role holder will spend much of their time in the field (with maybe one day working from home), building strong relationships with clients, managers and operatives. This is not an office-based or delegating from an office type role. Candidates for this role will Have experience of managing Managers at a Regional level Be experienced in running multiple contracts over a large area effectively Have excellent rapport/relationship building skills Be competent at running a productive diary Possess a full UK driving license Reside in a location that provides excellent transport links to all parts of the region Ideally experience in the cleaning sector, or a similar service-led industry Strong strategic thinking/problem solving skills required Have experience of running a mobile workforce A fully expensed company vehicle with fuel card, a laptop and phone are provided.
