Why Join?

My client is a long established (nearly thirty years) privately owned commercial cleaning company. They operate in London and the South East with a strong emphasis on sites in Central London and the City. They are fortunate to have an exceptionally strong and supportive management team and historically they have an exceptionally low level of staff turnover.

We are currently searching for a HR/Operations Assistant to assist the client’s HR and operations functions. This is a new role and is based in their Deptford office, as an SME they do not require someone to undertake an HR role full-time, so this is a role with dual responsibilities of HR and operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing an excellent level of HR support such as overseeing disciplinary matters and handling grievances
  • Liaising with Area Managers to schedule site jobs
  • Building excellent relationships and communicating with clients to provide excellent levels of customer support
  • General operational support

About You

  • Do you reside within a daily commute of Deptford
  • Do you have a working knowledge of HR matters (formal HR qualifications would be useful but are not a pre-requisite)
  • Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Do you have strong administration skills
  • Are you comfortable using Microsoft Office products
