Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic academic to support existing and new programs in the Criminology/Counselling discipline. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures and supervising students’ dissertations, among other tasks that contribute to student engagement and success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures.
• Supervise students’ dissertations.
• Contribute to student engagement and success through additional teaching and support activities.

Job Requirements

• Experience teaching and learning at undergraduate, postgraduate or equivalent level.
• Relevant work experience within the criminology/counselling field.
• Experience supervising dissertations.
• Relevant Masters degree.
• PG Certificate in Higher Education or other Level 7 teaching qualification.
• Fellow member (FHEA) of Advance HE.
• Desirable:
• PhD in a relevant field.
• Relevant academic research experience.
