Specific Hours: This is a contracted role
Fair Ways Fostering Team are looking for independent, self-employed Form F Assessors to undertake competency-based Form F assessments for prospective Foster Carers. This is a self-employed contractor position and as such applicants will need be able to facilitate invoicing for Fair Ways for any work undertaken.
Responsibilities
- Using your amazing communication skills β Building great relationships with potential applicants to ensure effective information sharing. Being mindful of appropriate management of sensitive information and challenging conversations.
- Supporting and developing potential foster carers β Analysing and assessing potential foster carerβs skills and experiences, identifying strengths, weaknesses, risk and areas for professional development.
- Confidently Presenting your findings β Compiling the assessments and supporting material by the agreed deadline and presenting the completed assessment to Fair Ways Independent Fostering panel.
- Working with an Outstanding team β regularly updating the fostering recruitment manager in relation to the progress of the assessment and sharing write ups of observations, meetings, discussions and references.
- Completing a fully supported assessment β Fair Ways will provide full administration support in relation to fostering statutory checks, greatly reducing the workload of the assessments overall.
Compensation and Support
- Fees: The Assessors will benefit up to Β£2,300 per assessment and receive comprehensive professional support and training, plus travel expenses, and administrative support.
