About Faire
Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favourite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role
Faire is a wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers are the backbone of local communities, and we exist to level the playing field for them against e-commerce giants and big-box retail. This is the team that brings them in.

As an Account Executive on Faire's European retailer sales team, you will own the acquisition of independent retailers across the United Kingdom and Ireland. This is a high-velocity closing role with real ownership from day one. You will build your own pipeline, run your own deals, and be accountable to your own number. This role is for closers. We want people who are competitive by nature and energised by the chase.

You're excited about this opportunity because...

  • You want real ownership early in your career; this is not a supporting role
  • You are motivated by a leaderboard and want to be at the top of it
  • You want to sell something that matters; independent retail is a cause worth getting behind and you can articulate why
  • You want to be part of a team that genuinely supports each other; one that shares wins loudly, works through losses together, and raises the standard collectively

What you'll do
Own your pipeline end to end: identify, qualify, outreach, and close retailers through calls, emails, and video meetings. Use business data, category insights, and AI-powered tooling to build a pipeline that is high quality and conversion-focused. Lead every customer interaction with a personalised, insight-led approach; understand each retailer's business well enough to land the right pitch in as few touches as possible. Work objections with precision; know when to push, when to reframe, and how to get a deal across the line. Map complex opportunities across multiple decision-makers and buying signals; not every win is a one-call close. Articulate retailer challenges back to the business with clarity; be the credible voice of your customer in internal conversations.

What we're looking for
Proven sales track record: 1 to 3 years in a closing role with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding quota. Hunter and closer: you are energised by outbound, you build high-quality pipelines, and you know how to read an objection, handle it, and drive a deal across the line without losing momentum. Accountable: you set your own sub-goals, own your number, and know your metrics without being managed to them. Strong communicator: sharp and credible in verbal and written form; as effective in an internal debrief as you are in a customer pitch. Resilient and fast: you move quickly, recover quickly, and bring consistent energy to a role that runs at pace. Coachable and self-aware: you take feedback well, spot patterns in your own performance, and actively seek ways to improve.

Salary Range
London, UK: the OTE pay range for this role is £72,000 to £99,000 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual On-Target Earnings (OTE) will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The OTE range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid
Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
