We are Fair4All Finance, a not‑for‑profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
We are seeking a Transformation Lead on a 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract (with potential for longer) to shape and deliver a complex, organisation‑wide change programme. Reporting to the CFOO and working closely with the Leadership Team, this role will be central to ensuring we are set up to deliver our strategic priorities at scale.
This high‑impact, hands‑on role involves designing and implementing a single, cohesive transformation roadmap across multiple workstreams – spanning people, processes, systems, governance and operations – while supporting a growing organisation delivering nationally significant programmes in financial inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and deliver a single, prioritised transformation roadmap aligned to organisational strategy and endorsed by the Leadership Team.
- Operate as a hands‑on transformation lead, directly delivering key elements of the programme (e.g. planning, analysis, governance design and implementation) alongside leading a small team.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies and resource constraints, ensuring alignment with ongoing delivery priorities.
- Lead the implementation of change across multiple workstreams, carefully sequencing activity to reflect organisational capacity and interdependencies.
- Design and embed a benefits realisation framework, including KPIs to track adoption and impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team, supporting consistent leadership behaviours and effective change implementation.
- Engage with key governance forums (including Board committees) to ensure oversight, alignment and approval of key changes.
- Manage external suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring quality, value and alignment across the transformation programme.
- Support Leadership Team members to scope and deliver team‑specific changes, embedding best practice in change design and delivery.
- Lead work to codify processes and support ISO9001 readiness, improving consistency, efficiency and organisational resilience.
- Significant hands‑on experience in a senior transformation role, working closely with leadership teams to deliver strategic change in growing and evolving organisations.
- Experience leading complex, multi‑faceted transformation programmes across people, process, systems and governance.
- Strong track record of delivering change in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
- Experience engaging at Board and senior leadership level.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to balance strategic design with practical delivery.
- Experience in not‑for‑profit, public sector or mission‑led organisations.
- Experience implementing or supporting ISO standards (e.g. ISO9001, ISO27001).
- Exposure to financial services, policy or regulated environments.
- Experience working with external suppliers and transformation partners.
- A hands‑on, delivery‑focused leader who is comfortable operating without large teams or extensive infrastructure.
- Highly organised, able to bring structure and clarity to complex, multi‑stream programmes.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving progress through uncertainty.
- Strong relationship builder, able to influence and align senior stakeholders.
- Pragmatic and solutions‑focused, balancing pace with quality and governance.
- Passionate about Fair4All Finance’s mission to improve financial inclusion.
- Collaborative, adaptable and resilient, with a bias for action and ownership.
- Curious and open to new ideas, with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
Pension (2:1 up to 12% employer contribution), group life assurance, critical illness, and income protection, family leave. 27 days holiday plus.
