  • Safeguarding students’ wellbeing in accordance with statutory requirements, including Fair Ways policies and Government legislation.
  • Understanding how early life experiences can contribute to severe behaviour that challenges and applying appropriate strategies.
  • Using our RiiSE training to deliver trauma‑informed responses through therapeutic and, where appropriate, physical intervention during times of crisis.

Shift pattern: 37.5 hours per week, term‑time only. The role is reactive to meet the staffing needs of each school (Totton, Eastleigh, Fareham, Swanwick). Mileage will be paid for travel undertaken during working hours beyond commuting distances.

  • Holiday Accrual Scheme with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
  • Simply Health cash plan, Employee Assistance Scheme, and Early Pay.
  • Education Grant for accreditation up to master’s level and leadership courses.
  • Well‑being initiatives, team‑building days, summer festivals, discounted gym memberships, cycle‑to‑work scheme.
