My client are a boutique headhunting firm operating in investment banking and financial services, specialising in fixed income who are looking to add a Global Markets Researcher to the London team, working alongside their experienced consultants on a range of fixed income sales and trading roles for their clients which include top tier investment banks, hedge funds and asset managers.
Their unique edge is that many of their team have previously worked in investment banking allowing them to understand the needs of their clients and candidates in a way that no other firm can achieve. They operate a flexible, mature, team-based approach which is suited to someone who is self-motivated, driven and can manage their time effectively.
The role of the researcher is broad and spans everything from basic administrative tasks (database management, document formatting, org. chart mapping) through to identifying and developing long-lasting relationships with both candidates and clients, facilitating every step of the hiring process.
This role would suit someone with relevant transferable skills and a keen interest in capital markets. Some experience in financial services and/or recruitment is preferred, but not required. They will provide training and guidance throughout, supporting growth and development through a mix of mentorship in the office, as well as regular communication and daily team meetings when working remotely from home.
